Masiela Lusha is an American actress, writer and activist who was raised from Tirana Albania. Max and Daniela Lusha raised her as the sole daughter. Lusha's modeling career started when she moved to Michigan. While doing modeling and performing in plays, a Hollywood Talent Agent was able to find her. Lusha began writing at the age of seven in Los Angeles as she acted. She released Inner Thoughts - a book of poetry - while there. She played Lisa in Father's Love in 2000. After that, her debut TV appearance was as a star of one episode on Lizzie McGuire. Lusha performed the role of Carmen Lopez, the star on George Lopez's hit sitcom from 2002-2007. Lusha's performance earned her Young Artist Awards for Best Leading Female Actress of the Year, Comedy or Drama in 2003 and in 2004. Maria brink......................Maria Brink was born on December 18 1977 into a troubled family in New York. She was a young girl at the time her father separated from the family. Brink at the age of 14, got pregnant and was forced to leave high school. She moved to an apartment after the birth of Davion and then began work in the laundry. Brink started her own group Pulse which was based on the streets of Albany New York. They mostly played local gigs with Coal Chamber, Sevendust and various other groups. The band's members eventually broke up. In 2002 when she was twenty-five, she relocated from California to Los Angeles looking for her big break. Brink was a singer and worked in bars and coffee shops while she was looking for an act. In two years, Brink came across Chris Howorth (now a band members) at an audition. Howorth rejected her audition because she was female. He quickly changed his mind and apologized to her after having heard her sing. Dying Stars is the name they used to describe their band, which they also formed together with drummer Jeff Fabb. Then the guitarist Blake Bunzel joined the band as did bassist Josh Newell. In This Moment was the name given to the group following the band's first two shows.
